Standard Tractor 475 is a 75-hp general-purpose, rear-wheel driven, four-wheeled, rubber-tyred agricultural tractor, with a 4-cylinder 4156 cc (bore 105 mm; stroke 120 mm) Kirloskar 4R-1040 diesel engine, which produces around 55.93 kW power at a rated rpm of 2200 and a maximum torque of 260.6 Nm at 1350 rpm. Gross weight of the tractor is 2450 kg, and it produces a PTO power of around 50.19 kW at the rated rpm. The vehicle dimensions are: length – 3640 mm, width – 1930 mm, height up to exhaust – 2235 mm, and ground clearance – 475 mm. Tyre size for front is 6.5-20 (6/ 8 PR); and for rear it is 16.9-28 (12 PR), or optionally, 18.4-30 (12 PR). It has a dual dry disc friction clutch and a 5-speed transmission system with high-low provisions for each of the five ‘gears’ as well as for reverse.
